New project ‘Death at a Funeral’

The Hollywood Reporter and Reuters report that Matthew Macfadyen is going to star in the low-budget indie farce ‘Death at a Funeral’. Co-starring are Peter Dinklage (”The Station Agent”) and Ewen Bremner (”Match Point”) and directing is Frank Oz based on a script written by Dean Craig.

    Synopsis:
The action follows a dysfunctional British family as they gather to mourn the passing of their patriarch. When a man threatens to expose the patriarch’s secret unless he is paid a princely sum, his two mourning sons try to do everything to keep the secret from leaking to the guests, and what should be a heartfelt good-bye turns into a calamity.

    Isn’t this great news!
